So this first Blog post is going to be fairly simple and straight forward. People and Corporations are stupid. Only a large company can create a product that is needlessly complex. Yes I am looking at you Sonicwall. I can take a $50 dollar router and setup port forwarding in 5 minutes. But the $600 dollar Sonicwall is so ridiculously complicated that you need a young priest and a old priest to work it. There is something to be said for simplicity.
I used to work for E4E Sonicwall Support in Phoenix. Their goal is to get the customer OFF the phone within 20 minutes. Not to solve any issues. The software used in their machines always gets corrupted, they don't care.
